The “Software and Data Council Styria” is a cross-sectoral regional platform that has set out to achieve these goals:

  • Increased number of people trained in software development, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, by collaboration between secondary schools and universities
  • Positive communication of real-life job profiles for early identification of talents
  • Increased proportion of teenagers, especially female ones, who can program and are confident to develop even sophisticated software applications
  • Improved in-company training
  • Contribution to the brand “Styria as a world-renowned IT region”
